Had to write this one up. Borrowed a 9m kite (thanks Shem) and went out in the most wind I have ever flown a kite in (other than a stacker 6 if that counts) and it was mad. went from powered up to Oh sh** hang on to your hats, went up wind well when powered up and went where the wind blew me when it went OTT, hang time on a little kite is nerve racking. Spoted a squall coming and put the kite down while it passed then out again but the wind had picked up even more and the tide was dropping back and I really did not see that sand bar till it was to late and that was that, over powered and beached on a bar and what a mess, left my board and my socks behind and when head first onto the sand (that hurt!), the kite went down and then up again (that hurt to!) and it was time to pop the release. All in all a lucky escape.

Oh what fun though, big kites are ok but small fast kites and big wind and sea is the only way to go.

Think i'm becoming addicted to adrenaline and pain, but hay you got to live a little.

Thanks for helping to sort my lines Andy.
